The Arizona Captive Insurance Association (AzCIA), which held its annual conference on 16 June, has elected Paul Deeley of Albert Heeg Investment Management to the 2009-2010 board of directors.

Deeley, who has been serving on the board through an interim appointment, replaces a board member who resigned during the year and will serve on the board for another three-year term.

AzCIA also confirmed the following board appointments for 2009-2010: president - Christopher S. Murray, Midwest Insurance Group RRG; vice president – Joel Chansky, Milliman; treasurer – Joseph Pieksza, Saslow, Lufkin & Buggy; and secretary – Marcia Philpott, SRP/Captive Risk Solutions.
