Bermuda promoting captives in Canada

Bermudian captive professionals are part of a delegation travelling to Toronto to promote business between the two jurisdictions.
A panel session will discuss captives, reinsurance and insurance-linked securities. The panel will feature Thomas McMahon, president of Cedar Management and Jason Crane, partner at KPMG LLP.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Business Bermuda and the Bermuda Stock Exchange – together with host law firm Bennett Jones LLP – have orchestrated the initiative that aims to further develop ties between the two jurisdictions.
“Bermuda and Canada have strong economic links that have fuelled growth and prosperity for both countries,” said Cheryl Packwood, CEO of Business Bermuda.
“We are very pleased to return to Toronto and look forwarding to continuing the dialogue and discussion with Canadian business leaders that have led to innovation and excellence and fostered so many new business opportunities.”
