USA Risk Group plants flag in Tennessee
Independent captive management firm USA Risk Group has opened a new office in Nashville, Tennessee.
The firm has had a long standing relationship with the domicile, since working closely with legislators on a re-worked captive bill signed into law in 2011.
In January, the state licensed its 50th active protected cell and 20th pure captive and Gary Osborne, group president of USA Risk Group, said it was a vote of confidence in a growing domicile.
Scott Stone, part of USA Risk Group’s Vermont operation, will be taking on the role of senior vice president leading the Tennessee operation.
Osborne said: “Scott brings many years of captive and risk retention group experience and enthusiasm to our Tennessee operation. We are already managing four captives in the domicile and we see a great growth opportunity for both USA Risk and Tennessee with Scott in place.”
USA Risk Group is licensed to manage captives in 21 domiciles across the United States and the Caribbean, as well as in Malta.
