The Federation of European Risk Management Associations (FERMA) has added associations from Spain and Turkey to the fold, bringing the total of member countries to 17.
Opening the FERMA 2009 Forum in Prague yesterday, FERMA president Peter den Dekker announced that Iniciativa Gerentes De Riesgos Españoles Asociados (IGREA) from Spain and the Enterprise Risk Management Association (ERMA) from Turkey will join the federation.
“Although Turkey is not yet a member of the European Union, we are Europeans, and we welcome them to membership of FERMA,” said den Dekker.
