tive Practice has announced the sad loss of Richard Falla, MD of its
Guernsey Captive Operations, to cancer on 21 February. His funeral was held in Guernsey on 26 February.
A 20 year veteran of the captive management sector, Falla joined Willis in 1989 as an insurance technician and rose through the ranks to become managing director in January 2008.
He also served a term as chairman of the Guernsey Insurance Company Management Association.
Malcolm Cutts-Watson, chairman of the Willis International Captive Practice said: “Richard was an example to us all, showing outstanding commitment to his clients and demonstrating real interest in his team and their personal development. He will be missed by his many friends in Willis, the global captive industry and the Guernsey community.”
